A poem on WAR -by

Dead Man's Dump

The plunging limbers over the shattered track
Racketed with their rusty freight,
Stuck out like many crowns of thorns,
And the rusty stakes like sceptres old
To stay the flood of brutish men
Upon our brothers dear.
The wheels lurched over sprawled dead
But pained them not, though their bones crunched,
Their shut mouths made no moan,
They lie there huddled, friend and foeman,
Man born of man, and born of woman,
And shells go crying over them
From night till night and now.
Earth has waited for them
All the time of their growth
Fretting for their decay:
Now she has them at last!
In the strength of their strength
Suspended - stopped and held.
What fierce imaginings their dark souls lit
Earth! have they gone into you?
Somewhere they must have gone,
And flung on your hard back
Is their souls' sack,
Emptied of God-ancestralled essences.
Who hurled them out? Who hurled?
None saw their spirits' shadow shake the grass,
Or stood aside for the half used life to pass
Out of those doomed nostrils and the doomed mouth,
When the swift iron burning bee
Drained the wild honey of their youth.
What of us, who flung on the shrieking pyre,
Walk, our usual thoughts untouched,
Our lucky limbs as on ichor fed,
Immortal seeming ever?
Perhaps when the flames beat loud on us,
A fear may choke in our veins
And the startled blood may stop.
The air is loud with death,
The dark air spurts with fire
The explosions ceaseless are.
Timelessly now, some minutes past,
These dead strode time with vigorous life,
Till the shrapnel called 'an end!'
But not to all. In bleeding pangs
Some borne on stretchers dreamed of home,
Dear things, war-blotted from their hearts.
A man's brains splattered on
A stretcher-bearer's face;
His shook shoulders slipped their load,
But when they bent to look again
The drowning soul was sunk too deep
For human tenderness.
They left this dead with the older dead,
Stretched at the crossroads.
Burnt black by strange decay,
Their sinister faces lie
The lid over each eye,
The grass and coloured clay
More motion have than they,
Joined to the great sunk silences.
Here is one not long dead;
His dark hearing caught our far wheels,
And the choked soul stretched weak hands
To reach the living word the far wheels said,
The blood-dazed intelligence beating for light,
Crying through the suspense of the far torturing wheels
Swift for the end to break,
Or the wheels to break,
Cried as the tide of the world broke over his sight.
Will they come? Will they ever come?
Even as the mixed hoofs of the mules,
The quivering-bellied mules,
And the rushing wheels all mixed
With his tortured upturned sight,
So we crashed round the bend,
We heard his weak scream,
We heard his very last sound,
And our wheels grazed his dead face.

A Hacker's Story : Part 1

It was about 3:30 AM when he finished remembering his dreams. It suddenly came to his mind-the idea of hacking. He wanted to play with the codes. He started thinking about how to hack-whether to impersonate somebody and mesh with his/her relationships, or entering into a company's internal network and stealing important reports and files. He also thought of e-shoplifting, and he thought of reading the html source code and finding out the hidden fields and playing with the data within. then he turned on his computer...
(the series continues...)

A Hackers Story:

it was early morning-3:15 AM when Ronnie turned on his Computer. In his sleep, he saw a picture a green picture with codes flowing like clouds...in the middle was he posing like a Kung-Fu player breaking the stony codes into pieces...

Republic of Nepal:::a new Nepal

Nepal has become a republic country today (May 28, 2008). The peoples representatives have thrown away the old-age Shah dynasty. The main reason for this change are the wishes of Nepalese towards revolutionary changes in lifestyle, belief and development process.Another very crucial reason for this are the actions of King Gyanendra which were anti-people, anti-democratic and anti-revolutionary.
However, different voices have been heard in the first and foremost meeting of Constituent Assembly. Its a challenge for the Nepalese politicians who own large mandate from the Nepalese people to lead the country in a peacefull, prosperous, harmonious and development-oriented path.
Despite the logic that may be absolutely positive or absolutely negative, there is a emotional and spiritual hope in the Nepalese heart
and that is,
Happy ganatantric Nepal!!!

newYEAR new NEPAL

The new morning of the year 2065 is showing some new hopes. The rise of CPN(Maoist) in the Constituent Assembly Election has reflected the true wish of Nepalese towards radical change creating an environment of peace and prosperity in the country. This is not merely the win of Maoist but the wish of people to see new faces in the political scenario. This chance given by the people must be taken by heart by the Maoist leadership.

Nepali Movies

It has been long since I have left watching Nepali films. I have been getting satisfied by watching the Fim previews itself.I feel that i have to watch nepali films for promoting Nepali film industry and Nepali culture at large. But what stops me from converting my feeling into action is the rendering of culture in Nepali fims.
I came to watch a film preview of a film named -(i forgot)in which a fighting heroine (i suppose) speaks a dialogue..."oi ek kadam pani agadi badhis bhane, aama ko bihe dekhlas"...that is "Hey, if you move even a step closer, you will see your mother's marriage".This statement is a modification of a often used dialogue 'oi nihu khojis bhane baau ko bihe dekhlas...you will see your father's marriage if you try to fight with me".
This is what prevents me from watching Nepali fims. There are reasons for me to watch movies, the foremost reason is for getting refreshed and entertained. Then comes the ethical wishes such as learning the culture, knowing the world, etc. If I do not get entertainment, why would I watch the Nepali films..for passing time?
No.because in that I will watch Hollywood and bollywood movies which are comparatively better than the spicy Nepali movies in terms of film-story, actings, video quality etc.
Yes there have been production of some quality movies like "Balidaan", "Caravan", "Numaphung", "Kagbeni"; also some earlier movies such as "Samjhana", "Kusume Rumal","Chino","Dakshina" were good for their classical storyline which matched the contemporary society of that time.I watched those older fims and the present advaced films both in Cinemahall and Cable-TV.And when I spesak of boosting the morale, professionalisation and industrialization of Nepali movies, I am actually speaking on behalf of these sort of movies from which I got both entertained and informed.
So, I prefer to watch films of good quality which depicts the contemporary issues and which renders useful information; but not the current in ehich some people dressed like Jokers dance in the middle of New-Road and sing songs with music in the background while there is no musical instrument playing seen around.
So, my suggestion to Nepali film makers is that please do not make films that will in word represent the nation but in reality spoiling national norms, values, culture, society and the people's aspirations. It will be a wate of both time and money; and the deviation of human mind from Creation to unwanted copying and unliked producing.

War in Afghanistan

It has already been 7 years since the inception of war on Afghanistan. At present Afghanistan seems to be quite to outside worlds, but for Afghanis there is a dark side to it. The first victim of Newtonian 3rd law has been Afghanistan, Iraq being the second, and the force obviously being the September 9/11 attack on the USA.
And Afghanistan went into turmoil. The Bush Administration and the UK were the coalition forces attacking on the then government of Taliban, supposedly the protector of al-qaeda and Osama bin Laden. And the result is this: a weak government limited to capital city Kabul, an ever-strengthening Taliban fighters, more attacks from al-qaeda and regional instability in South-Asia.
The beautiful hilly country Afghanistan has been a place for playing HIDE & SEEK by US-coalition army and the Taliban-Al-Qaeda coalition.
And this war isn't leading anywhere. The USA in the name of counter-terrorism has been making this region its permanent war-zone area and the Al-Qaeda and the Taliban in the name of protecting the country and Islam at large has been converting itself as a professional fighters lacking the moral instant of nationalism and faith to one's religion's ideology.
There has been no hope of peace and prosperity as both these sides have been trying to fulfill their vested interest in the name of finishing one-other's identity. And it has raised a growing immense wish in the people to see new Super-Power (purposedly India and China) that will overpower these anti-Peace factors.
